FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS
• Consult a Feedtek nutritionist if alternative ingredients are available
• Wheat, Triticale and / or barley may contribute up to 50% and hominy chop up to 40 % of the total grain meal
• Soya-, cotton-, canola- or sunflower oilcake meal may be used – minimum 36 % protein
• Replace up to 10% of the grain meal with molasses meal or molasses syrup if preferred
• Add 1 unit Feedtek Buffer Pack per ton of feed to help prevent acidosis
• Roughages should be milled to prevent sorting and restrict wastage
• Adapt animals gradually onto these feeds – consult Feedtek for a program
• Feed finisher feeds ad lib after adaptation
• Feed ewe feeds at 1000 tot 2500 g / day depending on stage of production and condition
• Feed ram feeds ad lib after adaptation to grow out rams
• Contains NPN and medicaments – do not feed to horses and game
